Panchamighat a holy place for Hindus, is situated on the western bank of the old Brahmaputra under Bandar thana of Narayanganj district. Thousands of Hindus annually resort to ceremonial baths in Panchamighat and in nearby langalband in the Bengali month of Chaitra on the 8th day of the bright half of the moon.
